Heavy- Duty Mobile Workshop

Manufactured and equipped as a fully functional mobile workshop designed for on-site maintenance and field service operations. The vehicle features optimized space utilization, reinforced structure, integrated power systems, and heavy-duty equipment support to ensure reliable and efficient performance in demanding work environments

Challenge

We faced several technical and operational challenges while converting a 6-ton “Dyna” truck into a fully equipped mobile workshop. The main challenge was integrating heavy workshop equipment within a limited cargo structure while maintaining safety of movement, ease of access, and compliance with safety standards. Managing load capacity and weight distribution was also crucial due to the installation of heavy machinery such as compressors, generators, cranes, and storage systems. Additionally, ensuring structural reinforcement of the body while maintaining vehicle stability and driveability in various operating conditions posed a significant challenge.

Solution

These challenges were addressed through a custom engineering design tailored specifically for mobile workshop operations. Reinforced flooring and structural supports were implemented to safely accommodate heavy equipment. All machinery and storage systems were strategically placed to achieve optimal weight balance and ease of operation. An independent power system, including a dedicated generator and an electrical distribution network with protection systems, was also installed to ensure reliable operation of all tools and equipment away from the vehicle’s engine in remote or field locations.

The Result

The complete mobile workshop on the "Dyna 6-ton" platform provides a robust, efficient, and safe working environment, suitable for field maintenance and emergency support operations. The vehicle offers excellent stability, operational reliability, and a practical design, enabling technicians to perform on-site repairs efficiently while minimizing downtime and maximizing service readiness.
